VINEYARD
THE VINEYARD: Located within the historic To Kalon Vineyard, the vines in this five-acre parcel are head-trained and never irrigated, and produce small grapes with deeply concentrated fruit flavors.
THE VINTAGE: The 2022 growing season was mild, dry, and very pleasant through August. Temperatures surged for a week in August. Our grape-growing and winemaking teams worked nonstop to keep the vines healthy and happy until temperatures cooled.
TASTING NOTES
Aromas: Opens with fresh French plum followed by citrus and subtle mint notes that are hallmarks of I-Block Sauvignon Blanc.
Flavors: The fruit characters are prominent and high-toned, with Mirabelle plum complemented by pineapple and stone fruit.
