From the 1970s to the 1990s, Robert Mondavi produced a méthode champenoise sparkling wine using a classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Today, we pay homage to that effort with this elegant sparkling wine made using the same traditional varietals and labor-intensive methods.

Composition 78% Chardonnay, 22% Pinot Noir

We harvested the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from cool-climate sites, which provided the ideal conditions for superb sparkling wine. The Chardonnay comes from Madonna Vineyard and Hyde and provides crisp apple and citrus elements, while the Pinot Noir is sourced from Rolling Oaks, adding a soft berry note.
