2019 The Estates Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville
We are pleased to share with you a bottle (or two) of the Top 6 wine from Wine Spectator's Top 100 wines of 2022. Included in this allocation, we know you will enjoy this wine as much as we do!
From the Wine Spectator:
This wine marks a comeback for the venerable Robert Mondavi Winery, with its first appearance in our Top 100 since 2011. Winemaker Nova Cadamatre helped oversee significant replanting in the famed To Kalon vineyard during her tenure (she left the winery in 2021)...Relying on organic farming practices, with native yeast fermentations and no filtration at bottling, this is very much a new and promising Mondavi.
2018 Harvest of Joy Red Blend To Kalon Vineyard
Our Harvest of Joy blend is comprised of 100% To Kalon fruit. When Robert Mondavi chose To Kalon Vineyard in west Oakville as the home for his new winery in 1966, he remarked that it was, “a vineyard with a distinguished history and a magical nature. Ideal soils, sunlight, and rain – to my eye, the vineyard was a treasure.” Well-drained, low fertility soils, aided by optimal sun exposure, consistently yield impeccable fruit maturity and amazing quality. This blend celebrates To Kalon, the “Grand Cru” of Napa Valley, by using the title of Mr. Mondavi’s memoir: Harvest of Joy.

Jeff’s commitment to local, sustainably sourced ingredients will be showcased during this elegant three-course dinner paired with our award-winning world-class wines. Chef and his culinary team are passionate about sharing their appreciation for Northern California, where the land and sea bring exquisite flavors which pair beautifully with the famous wines we produce.
