Kurtis Ogasawara
Kurtis Ogasawara, Director of Winemaking at Robert Mondavi Winery, combines a background in engineering with a passion for the art and science of winemaking. A UC Davis graduate, he has shaped acclaimed estate programs including To Kalon Vineyard’s organic certification. Kurtis is dedicated to honoring tradition while guiding the winery’s future, and enjoys life in Napa with his family.
Chef Brett Young, Executive Chef
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Brett brings over 25 years of experience from acclaimed kitchens including The Ritz-Carlton Millennia in Singapore, Mix by Alain Ducasse in Las Vegas, and Bardessono Hotel in Yountville. As Executive Chef at Robert Mondavi Winery, Brett seamlessly blends his expertise in food, wine, and hospitality. His thoughtful approach celebrates the synergy between local ingredients, culinary innovation, and Napa Valley’s renowned wines.
Jonah Kim
Born in Seoul and raised in the U.S., Jonah Kim discovered his passion for the cello at a young age, quickly earning acclaim for his signature warm tone and technical brilliance. After debuting with the Philadelphia Orchestra at just 12, he has performed worldwide and released award-winning recordings. Jonah is also cellist of Trio Barclay and artistic director of Festival San Miguel de Allende. At home in San Francisco, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife, ballerina Julia Rowe.
FLWR
Jess Mennella is a perfumer, flower essence therapist, and educator for whom the world of beauty and the vibrational power of nature are inextricably linked. Drawing from her training in natural perfumery, flower essence therapy, and meditation, she uses a range of techniques in the development of FLWR Napa Valley’s scents. This combination of botanicals, spirit, and place creates scents that invite a connection both to beauty and to oneself.
Brad Kayal
Brad Kayal is a San Francisco-based designer and creative director who has done poster and design work for legendary artists and performers from Tracy Chapman to Snoop Dogg. He has been a regular poster artist for the historic Fillmore in San Francisco for over a decade. His work has also been commissioned for album art for Capital Records, Blue Note Records, and Sony Music including a few Grammy-nominated albums. His design and poster work has appeared at shows in the MoMa NYC, the MoMa San Francisco, The Cooper Hewitt Museum / Smithsonian, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
