2011 The Estates Cabernet Sauvignon, Oakville 1.5L

The 2011 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon captures the eye with its deep, alluring color and enchants the senses with highly fragrant aromas of fleshy dark fruits, sage, and bay leaf. On the palate, a gentle touch of black pepper spice mingles with lively freshness and savory notes, all supported by dense richness, good structure, and a long, complex finish—hallmarks of Oakville’s celebrated cabernet style.

Hand-harvested grapes were carefully sorted, gently destemmed, and cold-soaked in traditional French oak tanks, followed by 38 days of extended skin contact to enhance varietal character and supple tannins. After malolactic fermentation in 92% new French oak barrels, the wine matured for 20 months, with the final blend crafted through meticulous tasting trials. Bottled in September 2013, this wine beautifully expresses its vineyard’s pedigree and patient craftsmanship.
